FLORAL IMAGINAIRE – Opus I
This sculpture takes us into a dreamlike and vegetal atmosphere.
This floral imaginary puts in scene a bouquet emerging from the earth, as in suspension. The selenite stones evoke the blossoming of nature.
The curves inspired by Bernard Venet give the whole an airy movement.
The effervescent ground symbolized by multiple steel cubes, roots this floral imaginary.
A phrase from Jean de la Fontaine guided my approach:
“Far from exhausting a material, one must only take the flower.
